We assist with all special occasions, including bridal, prom, and graduations.

We are a by appointment but first time walk-ins are welcomed.

We also do at-home/on location requests.

Carlos Gonzalez

An international cosmetologist and hair stylist to the stars, Carlos Gonzalez is the owner -operator of "TANGLES HAIR STUDIO" in Bloomfield New Jersey. Since 1980s Carlos has styled models, actresses, singers, and soap opera stars and is also a sought after platform international artist, for Agadir International, Razac, and Water Works. His platform artistry has taken him to International Hair Shows, from Long Beach California to New York City, with performances in Atlanta, Alabama, Chicago, Orlando, San Juan, PR, and many other top hair shows since 1990s. Featured in numerous beauty and business magazines like National Jewelers, Salon Digest and Hype Hair, Carlos has been called “a master hair cutter, and stylist "!!! ”You have to be versatile to work on all hair types and to achieve a contemporary look," He added " I’m always looking to find the healthiest hair care products to accomplish the best results, whether my customer is going on a job interview or a Broadway audition." Carlos Gonzalez's clients have included stars like Ofelia Dacosta, Flor Nuneys, Vanessa Vigaros, Chris Brown, as well as numerous other actresses, models and Broadway performers. Asked why he left the limelight of the set of two hit sitcoms and soap operas in Puerto Rico, where his parents live, he said "some hair artists like working only with other professional artists, but I get the most satisfaction from working with my everyday clients, some of whom have followed me for 30 years." Carlos admitted. ”Some of my clients call me, the healer hair stylist, because I’m dedicated and energized by correcting even the most severely damaged hair." He added that decades of practicing in this field" I know all the tricks."

Hiba Zaidi is Tangle's new Cosmetologist. She graduated from Capri Institute, specializing in skin care and makeup. She has been working with skincare for the past two years specializing in Microdermabrasion and Micro-currents. She also is an expert in facials from basic facials to skin exfoliation and skin rejuvenation . Along with working at Tangles she is a representative at Sonic Medical as a trainer and educator all over the US. Here at Tangles Hiba offers her expertise in Hair Threading, Henna designs and placement of Individual and band eyelashes and basic Manicure - Pedicure as well as makeup.
